Drip is horribly complex inside but it hides all its electronics, algorithms and mechanical wizardry like a well-kept secret.
All you see is design simplicity and beautiful movement.
Drip is a robot that makes perfect pour-over coffee every time. You decide the recipe. Then, choose your favourite finger and push for a jug full of amazing.
Design
Intelligent Sensing
Drip needs to know precisely where you’ve positioned your jug and filter. So, it looks down, does the math, and its sensors actually map out the trajectory of the water that will meet the coffee grounds.
Cleverly, Drip also instructs its intelligent water dispenser to produce H20 at spot-on temperature and flow-rate to match the beans and the recipe.
Mechanism
Nobody sees it but Drip has an under-the-counter system that delivers water at precisely the right temperature and flow-rate.
Tap it nicely and the robot arm rises into view, unfolds its elbow joint and hydrates the coffee with jaw-dropping choreography.
Materials
They make planes out of this stuff. Matt, ultra-light aluminium that looks refined but can take the knocks. Copes with big temperatures and high humidity. And doesn’t finger-mark easily.
Technical features
Power: 100-240 VAC 800W
Movement accuracy: +1mm
Temperature accuracy: +1*C
Maximum water flow rate: 330mL/min
